Subject: From Inside God’s Treasure Pouch

Good Morning Ethan & Emily:

I have to be at a 2002 budget planning meeting very early this morning, so I only have a few minutes, but I did want to share a great verse with you this morning…again especially relevant at this time of uncertainty and heightened security. 

It goes like this:  “‘Even when you are chased by those who seek your life, you are SAFE in the care of the Lord your God, SECURE in His treasure pouch!'”  1 Samuel 25: 29 (new Living Translation).

What a thought…and you will do well to keep it tucked away in your mind always: God values us enough that He has us in His “treasure pouch.”  There our salvation is secure, as no one can rob anything from this safe place and neither can any harm come to us that He does not know about.  God may watch the sparrows of the field…but He places us in His treasure pouch among His most precious and treasured items!
