Subject: One Step

Good Morning Emily:

One of the best dialogues in the Old Testament (I think) takes place between Moses and the Lord in Exodus 33: 13-15.

“Please (Lord)…show me your intentions so I will understand You more fully and do exactly what You want me to do….(v14) And the Lord replied:  “I will personally go with you…I will give you rest—everything wil be fine for you.”  (v15) Then Moses said, “If you don’t go with us personally, don’t let us move a step from this place.”

Certainly that has been my plea to God many times:  Please, Lord, don’t let me move even ONE STEP outside your will for my life!
