Subject: “EVERY”
Dear Ethan & Emily:
Before I started reading through the Bible verse by verse I didn’t really appreciate the Old Testament as I do now. It is loaded with wisdom and helps us to better understand the mind of God and His ways.
As the Israelites stood east of the Jordan River after wandering 40 years in the wilderness because of their disobedience, Moses reminded them:
“The Lord your God has blessed EVERYthing you have done and has watched your EVERY step through this great wilderness. During these forty years, the Lord your God has been with you and provided for your EVERY need so that you lacked nothing.” (Deut. 2:7)
What a comfort to all of us that our Heavenly Father knows and cares about our…
EVERY THING
EVERY STEP
EVERY NEED
What is it about the word “EVERY” that you do not understand??
Have a great day…I love you and so does your Lord with a greater love than I could ever give!
Dad
P.S.
The version of the Bible I do my morning devotions from is The Living Translation. I like it because it is a genuine translation (not like The Living Bible) and yet is so readable. Craig Bloomberg at our church is one of the contributors for the New Testament.
