Subject: The “In” Place

Dear Ethan & Emily:

I was reminded of comments that Pastor Chuck (“Chuckles” as we fondly call him) made to your Mother before her surgery yesterday as I was reading from the Psalms this morning.

“Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!   For each day He carries us in His arms.”  Ps. 68: 19

Isn’t that a comforting thought?  Pastor Chuck had reminded Marilyn that God was involved in every aspect of her procedure and that He had her securely in His hand.  Therefore, no one…or no thing could touch her without His awareness and permission.  He asked her to “lie back and relax” as she pictured herself in such a secure place.  (John 10: 27 – 30)

In His hand and in His arms….without a doubt, the “in” place to be!
